Terms of Use

1. Scope and Acceptance
FicBox (the “Platform”) is operated by FicBox team (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The Platform provides users with access to literary works, stories, and related reading content.
By accessing or using the Platform, its mobile applications, or any related services, you (“User” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Your continued access to or use of the Platform will be regarded as your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Platform immediately.

2. User Qualifications
2.1 Age Requirement
Users must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Where applicable laws impose a higher minimum age, such as 16 under GDPR requirements, the minimum age prescribed by local law will apply.
2.2 Organizational Authorization
If you access or use the Platform on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you possess the legal authority required to accept these Terms and bind that entity.
2.3 Ineligible Users
You may not use the Platform if you have previously been prohibited from using the Platform, or if your use would violate any applicable law or regulation.

3. Permission to Use the Platform
3.1 Authorized Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we provide you with a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Platform solely for personal and lawful purposes, including browsing, viewing, and reading literary works and storytelling content collectively referred to as “Stories.”
3.2 Usage Limitations
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, extract, copy, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code, underlying structure, data, or technical components of the Platform.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, commercially exploit, or otherwise use Stories or other Platform content except as expressly permitted by us or by applicable law.
You may not use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
3.3 Ownership Reserved
All rights, title, and interests relating to the Platform, including its software, technology, designs, trademarks, branding, interface, Stories, and other Platform-provided content, remain the exclusive property of FicBox team or its applicable licensors.
No ownership rights are transferred to you under these Terms.

4. Unacceptable Activities
When using the Platform, Users must not:
* Circumvent, disable, interfere with, or attempt to bypass any Platform security feature, technical restriction, or access control;
* Transmit, introduce, or distribute malware, viruses, harmful code, or any material intended to interrupt, damage, overload, or impair the Platform or its services;
* Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, its systems, servers, databases, or related services;
* Impersonate another person or entity, misrepresent an identity or affiliation, harass others, threaten others, or engage in abusive or unlawful conduct;
* Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, scripts, or other automated tools to access, collect information from, copy, or interact with the Platform without obtaining our prior consent;
* Use the Platform or its content in any manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, intellectual property rights, or other third-party rights.

5. Limits on Responsibility
5.1 Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total maximum liability of FicBox team arising from or relating to any individual claim connected with the Platform or these Terms will not exceed USD 500.
5.2 Types of Damages Excluded
FicBox team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from or related to access to, inability to access, or use of the Platform.
This exclusion applies even if FicBox team has been informed that such damages may occur, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

6. Service Disclaimer
6.1 Platform Provided “As Is”
The Platform is made available on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Platform will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or continuously available.
6.2 Content Availability
The availability of Stories and other content may change from time to time due to licensing arrangements, operational requirements, legal requirements, or other circumstances.
We may update, modify, replace, restrict access to, or remove content where reasonably necessary to operate and maintain the Platform.
6.3 External Websites and Services
The Platform may contain links to websites, products, content, or services operated by third parties.
We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, policies, practices, or content of any external website or third-party service accessed through the Platform.

7. Applicable Law and Dispute Process
7.1 Applicable Legal Rules

9. Copyright and Ownership Rights

Stories, text, images, graphics, designs, software, trademarks, logos, and other content made available through the Platform may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except where expressly permitted by applicable law or authorized by the relevant rights holder, Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, transmit, display, or commercially exploit such content.
9.2 Copyright Infringement Notices
FicBox responds to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable laws.
A copyright owner or authorized representative who believes that content available through the Platform infringes their rights may submit an infringement notice to:

The notice should include:
* Information sufficient to identify and contact the copyright owner or authorized representative;
* A clear identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material;

* A statement made under penalty of perjury confirming that the information in the notice is accurate and that the sender is authorized to act for the copyright owner.

10. Additional Provisions
10.1 Changes to These Terms

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10.2 Continuing Validity
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary.
All remaining provisions will continue to remain valid and enforceable.
10.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the agreement between you and FicBox regarding your use of the Platform and supersede any prior terms or understandings relating to the same subject matter, except where otherwise expressly stated.
